Great addition to any 2gig system!I have three of these programmed on my system and they do work. While no glass has ever been broken to trigger them, rattling change around will do it if you have enough coins. Programming these are also easy, providing you know what you’re doing.

Don’t buy this.Oh where to start. First, this product is no where near ‘as described’. Manufactured by Utilitech, not 2Gig as described. Appears to be a return from Lowes since the instruction sheet says to go to the Lowes site to set it up. Second, this is a z-wave device not 2Gig as described and as such could not be set up as a security sensor on any 2Gig alarm panel as they require, well, 2Gig compatibility since 2Gig sensors are a different frequency and protocol. It may be able to pair with the panel if it supports z-wave for automation features (mine happens to) but I really need it to trigger the alarm, not turn on the lights. Third, the seller provided picture clearly shows a box. My pictures show the item AS DELIVERED, no more, no less except for the smashed and soggy box it was packed in. AVOID THE SELLER ULTIMATE SUPPLY. They are either stupid, incompetent or dishonest. I’ll be kind and pick stupid.

house on a golf course?~4 stars: Alright now we’re talking! This item has met all expectations, The design is sound, The build is great and the product does what it was made for. It’s a great product that i can recommend buying. However it didn’t completely wow me. This is what most products fall under.

not sensitiveInstalled between my living room/kitchen. Set up was easy for my brother, but he also has previous experience installing these. Our household is loud, yelling, movies, barking etc. Hasn’t gone off at all.

Works well for the most partHave had these for several years, one of them just stoped working so had to replace it. They always worked just fine, not sure what happened

Was a little tricky to figure out how to configure …Was a little tricky to figure out how to configure it with our system, the instructions were not that clear, however, we figured it out in the end. We tested it by shaking a set of keys next to it and it went off so we know it is working.

Pretty sensitiveGood device. Triggered by sounds of glass breaking, screeching noises on TV, and other unrelated sounds. It kinda sucks when you are trying to watch a movie and the alarm starts going off. At least I know it works. Interestingly, it hasn’t been triggered by sounds of glass breaking in movies.
